In the Shari’ah, it is something on which a thing depends but is not included in it.” While commenting on this text, Ibn Abidin said: “In the sharia, a condition is an object that something is dependent on but not included in. Know that if an object that is dependent on something is included in the reality of that thing, it is called “Rukun”. The bowing in prayer is like this. If it is not included in its reality; it either affects that thing or it does not. If it does, it is called “cause”. The marriage contract is like this for the halalness of sexual intercourse. If it does not affect, it either reaches it in some ways or it does not. If it reaches it, it is called “Cause”. The time is like this. If it does not reach it, either that thing is dependent on it or it is not. If it is dependent, it is called “Condition”, if not, it is called “Alamat”. An example of a condition is the “Ablution” taken for prayer, and an example of an Alamat is the Adhan. Indeed, the barjandi has also explained this. Therefore, The commentator should have added the phrase "It does not affect that thing and in some cases does not reach it" while describing the condition. (97) The conditions of prayer are six: Purification from impurity, purification from Hades, Covering the private parts, the direction of the qibla, time and intention. Let us try to explain them now.

PURRAH FROM NECASAD: It is obligatory for the person who is going to pray to clean his body, clothes and the place where he is going to pray from dirt.(98) If the dirt is considered as “Najasat-i Ghaliza” and is more than one dirham, it is obligatory to clean it, if it is less, it is Sunnah. We have previously discussed this issue and explained it with definite evidence.(99)

PURSUE FROM HADES: In the Holy Quran, it is stated: “If you are in a state of impurity, then purify your body” (100). Therefore, it is a must for a person who is in a state of impurity to perform a ritual bath. A person who does not have a ritual bath must also perform a ritual bath. Ibn Abidin says: “Hades is more severe than impurity. Because while a little bit of impurity is forgiven, a little bit of hades is not forgiven.” (101) In essence, hades is a whole, it is not divided into parts.

SETR-I AVRETIn the Holy Quran, it is stated: “O sons of Adam, put on your adornment in every mosque (during prayer and tawaf - Jalalayn).”(102) Qadi Bayzawi states that covering one’s private parts is made obligatory with this verse.(103) It is known that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “A woman is a private part that must be covered.”(104) Imam al-Qasani said: “A stranger must not look at any part of the body of a woman who is not a mahram to him, except for her hands and face. Because Allah Almighty (swt) said: “Say to the believing men: He stated that, “Let them look at their adornments that are visible, namely their face and hands” (Surah An-Nur: 30). However, looking at their adornments that are visible, namely their face and hands, is permitted with the following statement of Allah Almighty: “Except for those that are visible” is what is meant by this verse; adornments. The adornments are; face and hands. Applying kohl (eyeliner) is an adornment for the face and wearing rings is an adornment for the hand. Because a woman has to expose her face and hands when shopping and doing worldly work. She can only accomplish her work by exposing them. So, there is a necessity in exposing them. This is the statement of Imam-i Azam” (105). In Fatawa-i Hindiyya, it is stated that, “The entire body of a free woman is private except her face, hands and feet. The same is true for the mutun” (106). The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “A girl who has reached puberty; her prayer is valid only if she covers her headscarf (in accordance with the Usul)”(107). Therefore, the whole of a woman’s hair is private. As for the private parts of a man: The part from below the navel to the kneecap is private. The Hanafi scholars, who base their hadith on the Messenger of Allah (pbuh): “The kneecap is private”(108), agree that the kneecap is private. The private part of a slave woman is like the private part of a man. Only her back and abdomen are included in private.(109) However, the back and abdomen are not included in private for a man. During the prayer, the prayer is invalidated if one fourth of the “Awrat-i Ghaliza” part (enough to perform one ruku’) is exposed. The clause “enough to perform one ruku’” is for this reason; If she covers it immediately after it is revealed, her prayer is unanimously permissible.

QIBLA FUTURE (Facing the Qibla): It is stated in the Holy Quran: “From whatever place you set out (in prayer), turn your face towards the Masjid al-Haram. (O believers) wherever you are, turn your faces towards the Masjid al-Haram.”(110) Therefore, it is obligatory to face the Qibla for prayer (whether it is Fard, Wajib or Nafilah). For those who reside in Mecca, it is essential to point directly at the Kaaba. So much so that a Meccan who prays in his house should find the Kaaba directly in front of him when the walls between them are removed.(111) Believers who are outside Mecca strive to point directly at the Kaaba. Even a person who prays: If he makes a mistake after investigating the direction of the qibla, he does not repeat his prayer. (112) It is stated in the Quran: “And how many other signs have We created on the earth, and with the stars men guide their paths.” (113) After mentioning this verse, Imam-i Shafi’i (rh.a) said: “All these show that Allah, who appointed the Masjid al-Haram as the qibla, has ordered people to turn to it with the signs He has created. There is no doubt that people find their way by the signs. Allah (swt) has also given people reason to recognize and use the signs. All these are the manifestation of the blessings of Allah (swt), the Most Glorious.” (114) Molla Khusraw mentions the following ruling: “If a person prays because the signs are not visible or darkness accumulates or clouds gather, the direction of the qibla becomes doubtful. If a person who informs him of the direction of the qibla (a just believer) cannot find it, he searches for the direction with his rational mind. Because the Companions searched for the qibla and performed their prayers. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) did not forbid them from doing so.”(115) However, if a person prays and cannot find anyone to ask about the direction of the qibla and abandons searching for signs and starts praying, this prayer becomes invalid.

TIME: It is stated in the Holy Quran: “Prayer is indeed obligatory upon the believers, timed.”(116) We have previously discussed the times of the five obligatory prayers!..(117)

INTENTIt is known that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Actions are according to intentions” (118). Ibn-i Abidin said: “What is valid in intention is the action of the heart. In other words, the condition that realizes the intention and is valid in intention according to the Sharia is to know something from the beginning. This knowledge will have arisen from the definite will. Just as knowing something absolutely is not an intention, saying it with the bare tongue is also not an intention” (119). He also stated in what cases the intention with the tongue can be. Ibn-i Humam said: “It is not proven by any hadith, whether authentic or not, that the Prophet (pbuh) said (i.e. said with the tongue) that he was performing such and such prayer when he started the prayer, and such a thing has not been proven from the Companions and Tabiun either” (120). In Haleb-i Sagir, it is stated: “Intention with the heart is a must. Saying with the tongue is recommended. The one who is the authoritative is the one who is guided and others have chosen it. It has been said: Saying with the tongue is bid’ah. If one intends with the heart but does not say with the tongue, it is permissible without any disagreement among the imams.”(121) Imam-i Rabbani: “Some of the scholars have explained the intention in prayer by wishing it with the heart and saying it with the tongue as “Bid’ah-i Hasanah”. This bid’ah, apart from the Sunnah, also abolishes the fard. Because; in this case, most people will be content with only the intention with the tongue and will not be able to prepare their hearts. In that case, one of the fard of prayer, “Intention with the heart”, will be completely abandoned and the prayer will also be corrupted. The remaining bid’ahs can be compared according to this explained meaning.”(122) It is known that the reviver of the Elf-i Sani, Imam-i Rabbani (rh.a) said, “There is no hasanah for bid’ah, all of them are condemned.” It is certain that intention is a reality belonging to the heart. There has been consensus on this issue. It is also known that saying it with a bare tongue (when the heart is not determined) does not carry the nature of "intention". Some scholars have said: "If the person who prays knows which prayer he is performing, this is the intention." Molla Hüsrev gives the following answer to this claim; "According to the original opinion, knowing this much is certainly not the intention. Because intention is different from knowledge (knowledge). Isn't it known that if a person knows the nature of disbelief, he does not become a disbeliever. If he intends to disbelief, he becomes a disbeliever. A guest does not become a resident by knowing the residing. If he intends to reside, he becomes a resident." (123) Therefore, it is a condition to enter the prayer with a definite "intention" in the heart. (Y.
