<\/p>\n463 Now, let us focus on the obligatory prayers based on \u201cTenvir\u00fc'l Ebsar\u201d, \u201cD\u00fcrr\u00fc'l Muhtar\u201d, \u201cRedd\u00fc'l Muhtar\u201d and \u201cFeteva-\u0131 Hindiyye\u201d. As it is known, it is a principle that a person who intentionally neglects the obligatory prayers should repeat the prayer. If he neglects them forgetfully, he performs the prostration of forgetfulness. The obligatory prayers are as follows:<\/p>\n

The first one<\/em><\/strong>: It is to recite Surah Fatiha. A person who skips most of Surah Fatiha performs the prostration of forgetfulness, a person who skips a little of it does not. However, it is stated in Mujtaba: \u201cA person who skips a verse from Surah Fatiha performs prostration,\u201d which is the better option. Therefore, it is obligatory to recite the entire Surah Fatiha.<\/p>\n Latter<\/em><\/strong>: It is to add a shortest surah to Surah Fatiha. As a matter of fact, it is stated in Fatawa-i Hindiyya: \u201cIt is obligatory to read Surah Fatiha and additional surah in prayer. It is also obligatory to read Surah Fatiha before additional surah.\u201d(174)<\/p>\n Third<\/em><\/strong>It is also wajib to allocate the Fatiha and additional surah to the first two rakats of the obligatory prayer.<\/p>\n Fourth<\/em><\/strong>In every rak'ah of the voluntary prayer, it is obligatory to recite the Fatiha and an additional surah. Because each pair of rak'ahs of the voluntary prayer is considered as one prayer. In every rak'ah of the Witr Prayer, it is obligatory to recite the Fatiha and an additional surah as a precaution.(175)<\/p>\n Fifth<\/em><\/strong>: It is obligatory to observe the order between recitation and ruku and between the things that repeat in every rak'ah, such as prostration, or the number of rak'ahs, which repeat in every prayer. This is obligatory in the sight of Imam Yusuf (rh.a). As a matter of fact, we have tried to explain it before!..<\/p>\n Sixth<\/em><\/strong>: It is also obligatory to calm the limbs for the amount of tasbih while bowing and prostrating and also when straightening up from bowing and prostrating, according to the preference of the Perfection. According to Imam Yusuf (rh.a), the act of Tadil-i Erkan is obligatory. We have mentioned it before!..<\/p>\n The seventh<\/em><\/strong>: It is obligatory in the first sitting. Even if it is in a voluntary prayer. This is the essential statement. As it is known, the last sitting is obligatory. It is also obligatory not to recite anything more than the tashahhud in the first sitting. If anything more than the tashahhud is recited, the sajdah-i sahw is performed.<\/p>\n The eighth<\/em><\/strong>: It is also obligatory to recite the Tashahhud in both the first and the last sitting. According to the prevailing view, it is essential to recite the entire Tashahhud in every sitting.<\/p>\n Ninth<\/em><\/strong>: It is also obligatory to leave the prayer by giving the salam to the right and left. According to Imam-i Azam (rh.a), it is obligatory to leave the prayer by giving the salam. We have mentioned this issue before!.. In other words, to say \u201cPeace be upon you and mercy be upon you\u201d.<\/p>\n The tenth<\/em><\/strong>: It is obligatory to recite Qunut in the Witr Prayer. Qunut means \u201cabsolute prayer\u201d. The takbir of Qunut and the takbir of the third rakat are subject to the same rule. Whichever prayer is recited, it replaces \u201cQunut\u201d.<\/p>\n The eleventh<\/em><\/strong>: The takbirs of the Eid prayer are also obligatory.<\/p>\n The twelfth<\/em><\/strong>Just as it is obligatory for the imam to be visible in the morning, evening and night prayers, it is also obligatory for everyone to recite silently in the prayers that are recited secretly.<\/p>\n The thirteenth<\/em><\/strong>: It is also obligatory not to repeat the ruku, not to triple the prostration, not to sit before the second or fourth rakat, not to leave out any extra prayer between two fard prayers, and for the person following the imam to remain silent and follow the imam (i.e. to follow the imam in a place that requires ijtihad).
