Mustafa <\/strong> STEEL<\/strong><\/p>\n

As is known, the republican period began in T\u00fcrkiye after the abolition of the Caliphate. The republican period was a bloody period. In fact, Mustafa Kemal, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, said: \u201cRevolutions made with blood become strong. Revolutions without blood cannot be eternalized. We must not forget this. They call this movement \u201creaction\u201d with its special definition.\u201d (1)<\/p>\n

Martyr Sheikh Said (Rh.a) was born in 1864. He was a great Muslim fighter who fought with his tongue and hand against the revolutionary fanatics who attacked the Islamic religion in T\u00fcrkiye. Sheikh Said (Rh.a) could not tolerate the destructions of the republicans who were trying to eliminate the religion. For this reason, he traveled to various parts of the country and tried to warn Muslims about the dangers. The content of his most important sermons, which were seen as dangerous by the revolutionary fanatics, is as follows: \u201cTurkey cannot exist without a caliphate. They are leading us to irreligion and insulting our ancestors and our religion. Madrasahs were closed. The Ministry of Religion and Foundations was abolished. Some irreligious writers in newspapers dare to insult religion and speak ill of our Prophet. If I could today, I would personally start fighting and help save religion.\u201d (2)<\/p>\n

If you pay attention, Sheikh Said (Rh.a) expressed his thoughts and beliefs about the destructions of the newly established political regime. However, Sheikh Said (Rh.a)'s above sermon, <\/strong>It disturbed the sleep of the republicans who could not tolerate freedom of thought and belief. The founders of the new regime decided to arrest Sheikh Said (Rh.a.) who gave such sermons. Thus, the Sheikh Said uprising began in the village of Piran on February 23, 1925. After many clashes, Sheikh Said was arrested and as a result, his trial began in the Independence Tribunal on May 10, 1925.<\/p>\n

Now let us all read together the historical statement given by Sheikh Said (Rh.a) at the Independence Tribunal: \u201cThe Caliphate has been abolished. There is no longer an Imam of the time. However, a Muslim who dies without pledging allegiance to the Imam of the time (without becoming attached to him and confirming him) is deprived of the intercession of the Prophet. In the building that used to be the office of the Sheikh-ul-Islam, now girls and Christian students from the Romanian University sit and stand together. How can this be done? Is this compatible with religion? (3) It is not permissible to separate religion from worldly affairs. According to Islamic scholars, the provisions of religion regarding worldly affairs are just like worship. (4) I have issued a fatwa stating that the overthrow of this illegitimate administration, which has acted contrary to the provisions of the Quran, denied Allah and the Prophet, and exiled the Caliph of Islam, is obligatory on all Muslims, and that the property and lives of those who are at the head of the Republic and those who are subject to the Republic are permissible according to the Sharia of the Muhammadan. (5)<\/p>\n

In response to the accusations of the Independence Tribunal, which were to \u201cestablish an independent Kurdish State\u201d and divide T\u00fcrkiye, Sheikh Said (Rh.a) stated his intention by saying: \u201c- I definitely did not want an independent Kurdish State or a Kurdish Kingdom, but for the sharia to be implemented.\u201d (6) Sheikh Said (Rh.a) who was sentenced to death, exclaimed as his last words: \u201c- I have no fear of hanging me on worthless branches. My death is surely for Allah and Islam.\u201d He also said, \u201c- We will all be judged on the Day of Judgement.\u201d Sheikh Said (Rh.a) was executed on June 28, 1925 and drank the sherbet of martyrdom. May Allah Almighty (cc) have mercy on him and grant him a place in heaven.<\/p>\n
