Reading the Quran for the Dead

"Some people claim that the Quran should not be read to the dead and that it will not be of any benefit. The verse they use as evidence is: "The Quran was not revealed for the dead, but for the living." (Yasin: 70) They read this verse and say that reading the Quran to the dead has no place in religion. WHAT KIND OF EVIDENCE?
