And peace be upon you, Allah, and His mercy be upon you. Brother, first of all, for whom is it obligatory to sacrifice? Let's list them:
It is obligatory for people who meet the following conditions to sacrifice:
Being a Muslim.
Being smart.
Having reached puberty.
To be free.
To be a resident (i.e. not a guest).
To have the nisab amount of goods or money.
The most important thing we will pay attention to here is the "NISAB AMOUNT". What is the Nisab amount? Its measurement is as follows:
1. Animals: 40 sheep
2. If the number of cattle is 30
3. If he has 5 camels of the camel breed
4.Ornament (gold, pearls etc.)
What is the measure of jewelry? Its measure is 96 grams of gold. So, if a person has 40 sheep, this person is rich according to Islam. Or if he has 30 cattle, this person is rich.
Or if he has 5 camels, this person is rich according to Islam. Also, if the wife has 96 gr. of gold or 640 gr. of silver, the wife is rich. If the man and the wife do not have any debts... If they have debts, their debts will be deducted and the rest will be calculated, if the remaining amount is the NISAB AMOUNT, then they will be considered rich again.
The gold, silver and other jewelry belonging to a woman are considered as jewelry. These are considered as Nisaba in any case and if they fill the amount, it becomes obligatory for that woman to pay Zakat and sacrifice. If she has no debt. If she has debt, the woman will deduct her debt and if she fills the remaining Nisab, she will pay Zakat and sacrifice.
