We praise Him, seek His help and forgiveness, and return to Him. We seek refuge in Him from the evils of our souls and our evil deeds. Whoever Allah guides is guided. Whoever He leads astray, no one can guide him. Peace and blessings be upon the Ummi Prophet, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds and who showed the right path, his family and companions, and those who followed them well, until the Day of Judgment!</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">   Now, <strong> Usul of Fiqh,  </strong>It is a methodology, that is, a science that explains the methods used in the deduction of jurisprudential rulings. Mujtahid imams derive rulings, learn religious rulings from the texts, establish the causes on which the rulings are based and build new rulings on these texts, and follow the paths that Islam is directed towards, that the Quran points to, and that the Sunnah of the Prophet has explicitly or implicitly conveyed. <strong>their interests </strong>They have put forward these methods to recognize. Accordingly, <strong>Usul of Fiqh, </strong>as a science, <strong>to the fakih  </strong>It is a set of rules that show the ways of deriving rulings from religious evidence, whether these ways of deriving rulings are literal, such as knowing the meanings of religious words, making inferences from these words, reconciling conflicts between their apparent meanings or disagreements in their dates, or whether they are spiritual, such as revealing the causes of the texts and explaining them, explaining the ways of determining these causes and the most reliable methods to introduce them. Thus, the Usul of Fiqh explains the essence of the Sharia in practical proposals, provides the methods to introduce it, and determines some criteria for the mujtahid jurist. Thanks to this, he walks on a solid path while deriving rulings.</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">      In this respect <strong>Usul of Fiqh,  </strong>It is a great science that had the greatest impact on the emergence of fiqh thought. Therefore, this science introduces those who learn it to the methods used by the mujtahid imams in deriving rulings and the rich wealth of fiqh that they have left us as a legacy; if they want to add something new to this wealth, even a little, it enlightens them on the path of ijtihad; it explains the fundamentals of Islam to those who want to derive religious rulings. They will find in these methods what the great mujtahids did without deviating from the right path or going beyond Islam by making time dominant. Those who want to know the fiqh of the past and the rulings of Islam in the face of new events should of course <strong>Usul of Fiqh </strong>they need to learn.</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">    For this reason, the Law Faculties in Egypt have always given importance to this science. Indeed, this science is more necessary for those studying law today than in the past; because the duty of applying the religious rules in family law, both in terms of financial principles and personal relations, has been placed on the shoulders of those who graduated from the Faculty of Law. Therefore, it is essential for them to be prepared in order to fulfill this duty completely; because whoever has to apply any part of the religious rules must know their sources and methods so that he can understand the views of the past, grasp the most correct and closest to reality, and derive new rules without straying from the purposes of the Sharia and without exceeding the limits of Allah; because in the Quran; <strong>“Whoever transgresses the limits of Allah has surely wronged himself.” </strong>It has been commanded.</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>    Usul of Fiqh,  </strong>Those who study law are in dire need of this knowledge not only to understand the sharia correctly, but also to understand the laws properly; because this knowledge explains the meanings of words, what the text and other words mean. In this way, the jurist can understand the meaning of the text <strong>from logic and concept </strong>learns what to take, words  <strong>their appearances  </strong>obtains the criteria and rules that show how to act when there is conformity or conflict between them… Here <strong>In Usul of Fiqh  </strong>There is such a delicate criterion for the indications and signs of the expressions, and everyone who has to interpret the laws needs it. For example; the interpretation of any law can be through qiyas. It will determine the types of qiyas, explain its methods, show the reason that unites two rulings and the ways to recognize it, and ensure that the characteristics that can be reasons for qiyas are known and <strong>main and secondary   </strong>The science that determines the criteria to determine the relationship between them and indicates the method of correct comparison. <strong>Canon law </strong>It is the Usul.</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">      Every law has exceptional provisions. <strong>Usul of Fiqh, </strong>It shows the methods of exception and their places and states that the exception is only to realize the main purposes of the law. The exceptional provisions that do not go beyond the spirit of the law and are correct, <strong>“istishman”</strong> section explains in detail.</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">      In short, we can say that this science gives the jurist a solid method, a subtle and deep understanding to understand the meanings of legal terms. Those who read and learn it have some fundamental methods and measures, and their legal abilities and understanding increase.</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">     We ask Allah to help us to explain this knowledge to the readers in a way that is worthy of it and to be useful to them.
