March 8 Women's Day in Islam?
Question
As-Salamu alaykum, first of all… – Is there a March 8 in Islam? In a video, they used the hadiths of our prophet (pbuh) about women and made a video on March 8. Is this a right move? Best regards

Answer ( 1 )
And peace be upon you and Allah, my sister Zeliha… Unfortunately, let us state that there is no such day as “March 8th Women’s Day” in the Islamic System. It is one of the made-up days of the imperialist Westerners. March 8th Women’s Day is one of the days when they cover up the illegitimate filth they do!… Again, unfortunately, let us state that some Muslims who fall into the trap of the Westerners think that they are doing something good by combining some of the provisions they take from Islam with the filthy deeds of the Westerners. They market the customs and traditions of the Westerners as if they are beautiful customs!. This is a disease. It is a disease where people act like they are very superior, very beautiful, very perfect when they come from the West. It is not possible for Islam to look favorably on such acts. It is not possible for it to approve of them! ISLAM is a system, Islam is a system. It does not need any other system, any other order. The Religion of Islam has been perfected. Allahu Teala cc. “He has completed the religion of Islam and has chosen ISLAM as his religion.” Our Lord says, “It is forbidden for you to eat dead animals, including carcasses, blood, pork, animals slaughtered in the name of something other than Allah, strangled, shot to death, rolled over, gored, and animals torn apart by predatory animals – except those you slaughter before they die – animals slaughtered on idolatrous altars, and seeking fortunes with divining arrows, and foretelling your future. All of these are sin, deviation from the right order, and sinful, rebellious behavior.
Those who insist on denying their common commitments in the servitude contract, belief in Allah, servitude and responsibility by suppressing them in their subconscious, the infidels, have today given up hope of destroying your religion, your sharia and your civilization. Do not fear them out of respect, fear me out of respect.
Today, I have perfected and matured your religion and law. I have completed my favor upon you, my religion. Because of your merit, I have deemed Islam worthy of you as a religion, law and civilization, intertwined with your life.
"If anyone is overcome with hunger and is forced to eat these without knowingly committing a sin, there is no sin on him. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful." (Surah Al-Maidah, Verse: 3) Ahmet Tekin Translation.
I would like to share with you an article written by one of our professors on this subject.
“WHAT IS WOMEN’S DAY?
What is this women's day? Where does it come from? What is the origin of this women's day?
This was in New York in 1857, women who were working like slaves in a textile factory in very bad conditions, went on a strike in March. In New York in 1857. A fire broke out during the police intervention. And these women, whose doors were locked, burned in this factory. That's why that day was declared as a women's day. This is, America did not allow this at the beginning. It allowed this later. So, at the center of the matter are women who are oppressed by the modern, capitalist system today. There are people who are oppressed by the capitalist system.
Islam does not allow oppression. Behind this lies a Western world that lacks justice and mercy. We see this in Africa today, we see this everywhere.
In short, God Almighty sees women as an element of virtue in society, as mothers…
But unfortunately, society has eliminated this. It has made women into a showcase with their charm. And as a result of this, there is of course some bullying etc. against women, some violence that violates their chastity etc.
Just as our Master (Mercy to the Worlds) was also (Mercy to the Worlds) to women.
Even in those days in Mecca, there would be disappointment and sadness in a family that had a girl child. “They had a girl child; it was a stain on the family; after a while, she would be taken to be buried alive!”
-Peace be upon him- he started his first struggle. He distributed gifts and hosted meals on the birthdays of our mothers Rukiye and Fatima.
The 23-year prophetic life of our Prophet was full of suffering. Only the year our Mother Khadija passed away was called the “year of sorrow.” An example of virtue…
Our Master held our Mother Fatima in high esteem. But he always guided her to piety. Today, she has become the mother of all the noble and noble chains.
Our Prophet says:
“The best of you is the one who treats his family in the best way.” (Ibn Majah, Nikah, 50; Darimi, Nikah, 55)
Of course, the first step of this most beautiful treatment will be to make him love his religion, his faith, and his Messenger.
Our Lord again forbids this violence:
He says, “Do not beat women. Those who beat women are not the best of you.” (Abu Dawud, Nikah, 42; Ibn Majah, Nikah, 51)
The prescription is always in Islam…
Referring to the rib from which our mother Hazrat Eve, the first wife, was created, our Prophet advises that trying to correct misbehaving women by force, violence and oppression will not yield results; that they should be disciplined with advice and suggestion, and with kindness and beauty.
HAVE A GOOD TIME WITH YOUR WOMEN!
In fact, there are chests on both sides of a camel. Families are sitting there. The camel herder pulling the camel is also pulling it with chanting. The camels get excited with chanting. A camel herder named Enceşe is also chanting and the camels start jumping. Our Prophet -peace be upon him- said:
"-He says, "Oh Enceşe! (He says) there are glasses inside that camel, do not break them." He says, "Be calm." (Bukhari, Edeb, 95; Ahmed, III, 117)
Again in Surah Nisa, Allah Almighty says: “Get along well with your wives and treat them well. Even if you dislike them, it may be that Allah will put a lot of good in something you dislike.” (An-Nisa, 19)
Again, our Prophet says, in the hadith of Muslim:
“A person should not hold a grudge against his wife. If he does not like one of her traits, he will like another of her traits.” (Muslim, Rada, 61) Let him compensate for it in that way.
Again, this is on Muslim women:
Hazrat-i Omer -may Allah be pleased with him- was going to kill our Prophet when he was a polytheist. His sister Fatima, a woman, reads the Quran to him, and Omer -may Allah be pleased with him- embraces Islam.
Our mother Aisha is the mujtahid of the ummah. And it is stated:
There is no companion who did not benefit from Hazrat Aisha's ijtihads. Everyone benefited from her ijtihads. The mother of the Ummah...
Nesibe Hatun. She shielded our Prophet with her sword at Uhud, with all her might. Our Prophet said:
“Whenever I looked to the right, I saw Nasib, whenever I looked to the left, I saw her.” (See Ibn-i Sa'd, Kenzü'l-Ummâl, 7/98)
He was hit from twelve places to protect the Messenger of Allah.
VIRTUAL MOTHERS
Huzeyfe again... What kind of a mother is she? Huzeyfe says:
“One day my mother scolded me (she says) and scolded me (she says).
"-Mom, why are you boiling me? What have I done that you are boiling me?"
He said, "My son, I see that you have not gone to the Masjid an-Nabawi of the Messenger of Allah."
"-Mother, please do not scold me. I did not go yesterday, I will go today - God willing - to make a request to the Messenger of Allah. May he pray to Allah to forgive you and me, both of us." (Tirmidhi, Manaqib, 378; Ahmed, V, 391-2)
Again:
“Who has rights over me?” asked one of the companions:
“Your mother, your mother, your mother, and -in the fourth- your father.” is stated. (Bukhari, Edeb, 2)
His Excellency Abdurrahman Jami says:
"How can I (she says) not love my mother? She carried me in her womb, in her body for a while (she says). She carried me in her arms for a while. She carries me in her heart for the rest of her life."
What are these? Virtuous mothers.
Again, Hazrat Abu Hanifa. Hazrat Abu Hanifa, one of the greatest jurists in the world, was thrown into prison because he refused to be a Baghdad judge. The Caliph was worried that he would distort his own ijtihad. The Caliph also threw him into prison. He sent a message:
"-If he accepts the position of the judge of Baghdad, let him come and sit on your throne and release him from prison," he said.
He also said:
"-I (he said) would rather stay in prison than have my ijtihad distorted. I just can't stand my mother being upset..." he said.
Now when we look at the Çanakkale Victory, who raised those lion-hearted, brave men? They were all virtuous mothers.
For him, for a believer, Mother's Day is every day.
It is also stated: “A mother is a school all by herself.”
God Almighty also recommends it to us:
(“…Our Lord! Grant us spouses and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes…” [al-Furqan, 74])
Giving particular importance to girls.
Our Prophet brought water and gave it to Hazrat Hasan.
Our Mother Fatima:
“-My father (he said), he probably loves Hasan more.” he said.
"-No, my daughter! (He said.) I gave it to Hasan because Hasan wanted it before (he said). You (he said), protect justice among your children (he said), equality (he said). But give more importance to daughters (he said). Raise them better." he said. (See Heysami, IV, 153; Ibn-i Hajar, el-Metalibu'l-Âliye, IV, 69)
In short, when we look at Europe today, there is no family in the Western world, it is finished. There is no child-father relationship. They act, go and complain, take the child away from there, and leave him somewhere else, supposedly free to do carnal things.
Marriage, which separates humans from animals, was considered a burden and adultery was made free. In this case, which mother will grow up to be virtuous? Of course, what happens then? Society becomes a monster with only one tooth left.
In short, we should not look for the cure in the swamps where the disease arises. This is nothing but a futile effort and futile fatigue.
To alienate women from their original place and sacred duty and to turn them into ugly servants of the ego is, in fact, the greatest oppression against women.
Today, in the end, there is an equalization that is contrary to creation and nature. In other words, there is picking pears and apples together. Almighty God has given women different characteristics and men different characteristics. When these characteristics come together, there will be happiness.
It will bring tranquility to that house.
There will be a love and this love will be a step, they will be an example of virtue to the generation they bring. They will be a blessing to each other. (See: er-Rûm, 21)
When we think of a pious woman; she protects her husband's property, organizes her home, protects her soul and honor. She fills the family with spiritual joy. She takes care of her children's religious education. Such a mother is a mother who deserves a lifetime of gratitude...
In fact, it is Islam that makes Mother's Day, the most beautiful Mother's Day, every day a Mother's Day.
Here - the conversation got longer again - there is Muhammad Iqbal, the thing, theorist, philosopher of Pakistan. He: “O Muslim woman! (He says) O Muslim woman whose cover is the curtain of your modesty! The light on your face is the capital of our lamp of faith. The purity and beauty in your creation is a mercy from God, the strength of our religion, the basis of existence of our ummah.
You are the first to teach our children the word of Tawhid as soon as they are weaned. Your love regulates our state, our thoughts, our words, and our actions.
Oh Muslim woman who has been entrusted with religious blessings! The ember fire of the true religion has caught fire from your breath.
This century is two-faced and deceitful. Its exterior is adorned, but its interior is corrupt. The thieves of this century block the path of caravans on the path of religion. The insight of this century is blind. It does not recognize the truth. Only those who have lost their humanity can surrender to the selfish chains of this century. The person who falls into the trap of this century thinks he is free. In fact, he has drunk poison from his own hand and still thinks he is alive.
You are the water of life of the seedling of society, oh virtuous mother of Islam! You are the guardian who protects the trust of the Ummah. Discover the sublime qualities in your nature with your mind. Hazrat Fatima is an example for you. Do not take your eyes and heart off Hazrat Fatima! So that your branch will bear fruits of the Husains.”
Here - thank God - the best of everything is bestowed by God with Islam. And how He raises women to the pinnacle of virtue. God willing - may God adorn our society with such virtuous mothers - God willing.
May God Almighty accept our conversation. May He grant us lessons from the comprehensiveness of the verse that was read. God Almighty -inshallah- to all of us -inshallah-…
-Peace be upon Him-:
“A person is with the one he loves.” (Bukhari, Edeb, 96)
May God Almighty grant us the opportunity to admire the Sunnah of our Prophet, all of his states, and to follow his path -alhamdulillah- as our only guide. May He grant us the opportunity to be with him on the Day of Judgement -insha'Allah-.
Our Prophet says near his death:
“I miss my brothers,” he says.
The honorable companions say:
“-O Messenger of Allah! Are we not your brothers?”
"-No (he says), my (he says) brothers (he says), you are my companions (he says), my brothers (he says), I will wait for them by the pool." he says.
The Companions say:
“-O Messenger of Allah! How will you recognize your brothers among all those people who have come?”
“-Just as (says our Prophet), in a herd of black horses, those with white feet and foreheads are immediately recognized, I will also recognize my brothers, my brothers among the Companions, in the same way. And I will wait for them by the pool…” he says. (See Muslim, Tahâret 39, Fedâil 26)
God Almighty - God willing - will include all of us - God willing - among the Ummah that the Messenger of Allah - peace and blessings be upon him - called "my brothers".
And again, our Prophet says:
“My nation is like a rain shower. Its beginning is mercy and its end is mercy.” (See Tirmidhi, Adab, 81)
- God willing - we have come to the end - Allahu a'lam -. We will be among the ummah whose end is mercy - God willing -." Osman Nuri Topbaş Hocaefendi,
