«Aqidah»; It is all of the things that a person must believe in. The foundations of Islamic culture and civilization are based on this belief.

Aqidah is the basis of knowledge about the universe and life. Islamic culture and lifestyles are products of Islamic aqidah.

The Islamic civilization that was sought to be destroyed was first shaken in its creed and, consequently, its perception of life and civilization were destroyed.

«Aqidah» is; as a word, it is the plural of aqidah. «Creeds» It means. But in Islamic terminology, it is used as the special name of an Islamic science, and «Islamic Beliefs» or «The science of belief» It is said.

ISLAMIC BELIEFS IN THE FACE OF FOREIGN CULTURAL INFLUENCES

In Islam, the first perverted "Qadariyya Sect" was started by Mabad Ibn Khalidi'l-Juhani. According to Maqrizi, the person who inculcated this perverted sect in Mabad was the Iranian Abu Yunus Sensuye.

The first person to deny the attributes of Allah (swt) was Ca'd İbnü Dirham. He was the first to claim that the Quran is created, and to deny the Miraj, saying that the attribute of speech does not exist with Allah (swt) and that Allah (swt) cannot be seen with one aspect.

Ca'd was the teacher of the last Umayyad Caliph, Mervan. According to Ibn Asakir; Ca'd took these deviant beliefs from Bayan Ibn Sam'an. Bayan was from the Ghulat-i Shia (extremist Shiites). He believed in Hulul and Ibahiya. Later, he claimed prophethood. He took his ideas from his son-in-law Taalut; Taalut took these beliefs from a Yemeni Jew (Labid) who performed magic on the Prophet (PBUH). (1)

In matters of istitaat (power given to the servant) and human freedom, Geylan of Damascus was active. This furthered the heretical sect of the Temple, Qadariyya. "Fate, good and evil, all are the work of the servant" he would say.

Expanding on the claim that attributing both essential and actual attributes to Allah (JJ) would violate the creed of monotheism, and denying human will by saying "the doer of everything is Allah (JJ), and actions are the work of His essence", the first person to establish the "Jabr" school of thought was Jamb bin Safwan.

Ibn Kathir says, "There are those who recorded that Jahm was from Tirmidhi, Samarkand, and even Khazar." (2)

Ibn Nadim says that the Khazars used Hebrew script. (3) Due to the oppression in Byzantium in the 8th century, the Jews took refuge in the Khazar country and thus the Khagan and his entourage accepted Judaism. And the Khazars protected the Judaizers against the Muslims.

It is worth considering as a lesson that Jahm was probably a Khazar and that, as mentioned above, the Khazars were under the influence of Jewish culture and that the principles of Jabriyya were non-Islamic.

The person who prepared the principles of Mucassime and Karramiyya was Mukatil ibn Sulayman, who constantly argued with Jahm.

Wasil Ibn Ata and his brother-in-law Amr Ibn Ubayd separated from Hasan Basri and founded the Mu'tazila School, claiming that "there is a place between disbelief and belief and between Heaven and Hell."

Wasil Ibn Ata was born in Medina and settled in Basra, and the word itizal was first used about him.

Amr Ibn Ubayd's grandfather, Rebap, was one of the great men of Hind. According to one narration, his grandfather's name was Suban; according to another narration, it was Keysan. He was one of those who cursed the Companions. He denied the Surah Tabbat. (4)

The activities of the Mu'tazila were protected by the state and during the time of the Abbasid Caliph Ma'mun, people and books were brought from all over. «House of Wisdom» (Knowledge School) was founded. This establishment further developed and systematized the Mu'tazila ideology.

When the origin of this school is examined, it is seen that:

The famous Catholic priest Timothy went to China during the activities of Christian missionaries, then stayed with the Abbasid Caliphs with his own consent, and then devoted himself to very lively philosophical studies.

In the second half of the eighth century, the ancient Iranian Medical School «Gonde Shapur» The school gained great fame.

This madrasah experienced its first period of activity in the fifth century, during the reign of King Khosrow Enushirevan, with the onslaught of Christian scholars.

This time, Assyrian, Iranian and Greek scholars came to this scientific environment and through this they came into contact with India.

During the time of the Umayyad Caliphs «Gonde Shapur» The activity of the higher madrasah was so strong that there was no possibility or need for any other medical madrasah to be established, and some physicians from there alone went as far as Arabia and Syria.

For the first time, during the period of the first Abbasid Caliphs, when they moved their center to Baghdad, this school aroused great interest throughout the Islamic world.

In 765, Caliph Al-Mansur consulted Gewargis bar Bohtisho (Corces bar Bahtishu), the chief physician of the Gonde Shapur Hospital, and invited him to Baghdad. The Bahtishu family remained in Baghdad for about three centuries. The Caliphs entrusted them with their physicians and private secretaries.

In the Gonde Shapur school, there were many other families, besides this one, who were engaged in medicine and philosophy and who were translators. The one we know well among them is Johana bar Masawih, who immigrated to Baghdad in the early ninth century, and established a hospital there and, by order of Caliph Ma'mun, founded the House of Wisdom, a school of translators. Caliph Mutawakkil reformed and renovated this school and appointed Hunayn as its head.

This school was also the center of foreign cultural invasion in that period. All works that were destructive of belief were translated from Greek, Hindi and Hebrew. With their influence, heretical views such as Mu'tazila, Murji'a, Qadariyya, Ibrahiyya and Batiniyya were strengthened and spread.

In the face of the efforts of these foreign cultures to destroy Islam, the need to reveal the pure faith foundations of Islam was felt, and the Science of AKAID was born.

(1) Ibnul-Kathir. Al-Bidaye Ve'n-Nihaye. C. IX, p. 350.

(2) Ibid., CX 27.

(3) Ibn-Nadim, Index.

(4) Ibnul-Kesir. ibid. C. X, p. 78. (Omer Nasefi, Fundamentals of Islamic Faith AKAID)

                                                                AKAD

AKIDE, It is the totality of the things that a person must believe in. The foundations of Islamic culture are based on this belief. In the face of the infidels' aim to destroy the Islamic beliefs, the imams of Ahl al-Sunnah and Jama'at felt the need to present the pure beliefs and beliefs of Islam, and as a result, the SCIENCE OF AKAID emerged.

The first representative of the creed EBU HANIFAH NUMAN IBNl IS FIXEDHe is the first imam of the Ahl as-Sunnah in belief as well as in practice. EBU MANSUR MATURIDÎ Hanafis are called Maturidi in the Creed because they systematized the principles and method of defense established by Imam Azam.

Abu Mansur Maturidi is one of the exceptional and jihadist scholars who declared and explained Islam in a way that Allah commanded, at a time when all kinds of attacks were being made on the foundations of the magnificent building of Islam. He distinguished himself with the breadth and power of his knowledge, his sagacity and virtue in the knowledge of Tawhid, gained the trust of all the Ahl as-Sunnah and deservedly received the title of Imam of the Theologians.

The second one is the Imam of the Theologians, the leader of the Ahl al-Sunnah, who is a Shafi, who made a great effort to learn and teach the creed of Muslims, who melted in the crucible of Islam and did not hold back in spreading the sunnah of our Prophet (SAW). EBU'L HASAN EL EŞ'AR'I EL BASRİ'is..

It should be well known that the leaders of Ahl as-Sunnah Wal Jama'ah in the science of theology are these two Imams. Imam-i Maturidi and Imam-i Ash'ari adopt a method that is intermediate between the other sects. Both Imams are in agreement on every issue that is based on rational evidence. In the issues that the intellect perceives as permissible in the origins of the transmitted evidence, in the issues that the intellect does not perceive as permissible, mentally and they are satisfied with the narration evidence. They have reached a consensus on all issues related to belief, except for some issues. We, IMAM-I AZAM EBU HANIFEWe have followed him because he is our imam and example in usul and furud.

Aqidah is the explanation of the issues that are the foundations of faith, and it is obligatory to learn it. The person who wants to learn this knowledge should not learn it from just anyone, but from someone who is an authority in this knowledge and is considered one of the imams of Ahl as-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. We take this criterion into consideration: The first imam of Ahl as-Sunnah, Imam-i Azam «FIKH-I AKBER'ini, by using the commentary of Aliyyül - 'Kari and the translation of Sabit Ünal published by the Directorate of Religious Affairs, Nurettin Es Sabuni «MATURUDLYYE AKALD» ini, from the translation of Bekir Topaloğlu and again from Imam-i Maturidi «KlTAB'UL TAWHID» from Sudi Erdoğan's translation, from Imam Abu Yusr Muhammed Pezdevi's "Ahl-i Sunnah Akaid", from Şerafettin Gölcük's translation, from Imam Ömer Nasafi's «AKAID» from the preparation of Seyid Ahsen, by Imam Omar Mu'in En Nasafi «ISLAMIC BELIEFS» from Cemil Akpınar's translation, by Ahmet Ziyauddin Gümüşhanevi «Ahl-i Sunnah belief» from the translation of Abdulkadir Kabakçı and Fuat Gürel, from the translation of Kelebazi, «Tasavvuf (Taarruf)», from the translation of Süleyman Uludağ, from the translation of Hakim Es Semerkandi «SEVAD'UL AZAM» We constructed the fundamental issues section of our Akaid by making use of Sıdkı Gülle’s translation.

In addition, we made the necessary explanations for the Doomsday section by using the work of Imam-i Qurtubi, "Signs of the Doomsday" and the work of Muhammed B. Resul Al-Husayni, "Signs of the Doomsday". The meanings of the additional Names presented in the issue of the names of Allah are given in Osman Tatlısu's «ASMA'UL HÜSNA» We have presented the Major Sins, which are presented as an addition to the issue of Minor and Major Sins, by making use of the entirety of Ibn Hajar's work, Halal and Haram. In the last section of our creed, «THE WORD OF BLESSING» In this section, all the above mentioned books of belief and the one prepared by Hüseyin Aşık are included. «THE WORD OF BLESSING» We have compiled this work of faith by making use of the book.

Moreover, «SEYDA says» Under the title, with the help of Saadat, our explanations for all the mentioned issues of our Aqaid are included. In addition, another point that should be understood in our work is that after the opinions of the leaders and scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah Wal-Jamaat are mentioned in general under the title of Ahl al-Sunnah Wal-Jamaat, again in order to ensure a better understanding of the issue, the opinions and words of the leaders of Ahl al-Sunnah Wal-Jamaat, some Ahl al-Sunnah scholars and Great Saints are also included under the issues in person.

One of the points to be noted is that in the book we compiled, we gave sequential numbers to the sentences in order to explain which book the words in the issues were taken from. We also mentioned these numbers in the back of the book, under the title of References, together with the works we have shown as sources, to make research easier for our readers.

May Allah be pleased with you… Success and grace are from Allah, Fascination is from Allah… Prepared by (Adem Muftuoglu, Kitab'ul Akaid, p:7-9) Nizameddin DEMIR
