WHAT IS AHL-I SUNNAH? -3-
WHAT IS AHL-SUNNA?
Every Muslim must base his faith on solid foundations.
Saying “I am a Muslim” cannot establish one’s faith on solid foundations! After people become Muslims, problems of faith begin to arise. Especially and first of all; problems begin to arise with belief in Allah swt!…
The most distinct view that emerged from the sect called Salafiyya is whether Allah Almighty is a Body or not, this is the most distinct feature of the embodied sect. This is its distinctive feature. Salafiyya, also known as Wahhabis, say that Allah Almighty is seated on the Throne… In other words, they assume a place for Allah Almighty. This belief is false. Therefore, a person cannot be saved by saying, “I am a Muslim, alhamdulillah”! He must base his belief on solid foundations… He must have the belief of the Ahl al-Sunnah…
For example, a Muslim should say about the Sahaba that they are all just, all Muslims, and believe that way. He should say about our mother Hazrat Aisha (ra), “She never committed adultery” and believe that way. Why, because the Shiites believe that Hazrat Aisha (ra) committed adultery. Their belief is corrupt. For example, we, the Ahl as-Sunnah sect, believe that there is a punishment in the grave, but the deviant sect called Mu'tazila does not believe in the existence of the punishment in the grave. We, the Ahl as-Sunnah Muslims, believe in the existence of the punishment of RECCM given to those who commit adultery. We say that this is the truth… The Azariqah branch of the Kharijites and some other branches do not accept the punishment of RECCM… Dozens of issues like these are all matters of faith. They are beliefs that indicate the faith of a Muslim…
