Most scholars of hadith say that in order for an authentic hadith to be definitive, it must have been narrated by the Shaykh (Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim).
Ibn Hazm says:
“The one-sided news, which was narrated by just narrators until the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), expresses both knowledge and action.”
(Muhaddis: A person who knows the chains of narration, the causes, the narrators mentioned in the chain, the main and the revealed chain of narration, who has memorized a large number of hadiths, who has listened to Kutub as-Sitta, the Musnad of Ahmad ibn Hanbal, the Sunan of Bayhaqi, the Mu'jam of Tabarani, and also a thousand parts of hadiths.)
(Illah: It is the defect in a hadith that cannot be noticed from the outside and that would destroy the authenticity of this hadith).
(Ali Isnad: It is the isnad that has the least number of narrators between the narrator of any hadith and its source, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) or one of the famous hadith imams who narrated that hadith, or the isnad that can reach the musanna of a well-known hadith book with the fewest narrators in between).
(Musannaf: It is the name given to the hadith books that collect hadiths on various subjects).
(Nazil Isnad: It is the opposite of Ali Isnad and is the isnad in which there are more narrators than normal between the last narrator who narrated the hadith and its first source, the Prophet (pbuh) or a hadith scholar).
(Kutub as-Sitta: It means six books. These are: Sahihs of Imam Bukhari and Muslim, Sunan of Imam Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah).
(Musnad: These are books in which the hadiths are mentioned according to the names of the Companions or their lineage, based on the order of their entry into Islam. The most perfect and comprehensive of these musnads is the Musnad of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal. There are forty thousand musnad hadiths in this book. Ten thousand of them are repeated.)
(Sunan: It is the name given to the book in which the hadiths reflecting the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) are written. Sunan books generally contain hadiths that are related to the Prophet (pbuh). Sunan books began to be written in the first half of the second Hijri century.)
(Mu'cem: These are books in which the hadiths are listed alphabetically according to the names of the scholars or cities or tribes. The most famous mu'cems are al-Kabir, al-Awsat and al-Saghir by al-Tabarani).
(Hadith Part: It is the name given to the small-scale hadith books that were arranged with the aim of collecting the hadiths coming from a certain person.)
(Haber-i Vahid: It is the news narrated by a single narrator in a generation).
(Tahric: It is used in two meanings. One is narration, the other is showing the source of the hadiths).
The view that deserves acceptance is that of Ibn Hazm, because there is no point in saying that only the hadiths of the Sahih are definite. The books other than these two books whose authenticity is known with certainty should also be accepted in the same way. The fact that these have great value for the believers does not necessitate belittling the value of the authentic hadiths in other books.
(Sahihayn: This term, meaning two authentic hadiths, refers to the authentic hadiths of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim. The term sahih is used for books that contain authentic hadiths).
“The characteristic of an authentic hadith is that it has been narrated from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) by an unknown companion and from two natural companions, and has been accepted by the hadith scholars as a testimony that one of them has the capacity to testify, and has been narrated until today.”
(Tabi'i: It refers to someone who met with one of the companions of the Prophet (pbuh) and narrated hadith from him.)
(Sahabi (plural: ashab or sahabe): People who saw the Prophet (pbuh) as a believer during his prophethood and died as believers are called).
Only Imam Bukhari was the first to collect authentic hadiths. His student Imam Muslim followed Imam Bukhari in collecting authentic hadiths.
Almost the majority of scholars definitely state that the most authentic hadiths are those narrated by the people of Medina, the home of the Sunnah.
Ibn Taymiyyah says:
“Hadith scholars agree that the most authentic hadiths are those narrated by the people of Medina, then by the people of Basra, and then by the people of Damascus.”

THIRD CHAPTER (Second Part) HASEN HADITH

Hasan hadith: It is a hadith that is free from defects and faults and is narrated with a muttasil chain of narrators whose record is not perfect.
The difference between the authentic and the hasan is that the narrator of the authentic hadith is perfect in terms of record, while the narrator of the hasan hadith is deficient in this respect. Both hadiths are free from defects and ills and are suitable for istijaj and istishhaad.
(Ihticaj: It is called drawing a ruling from a hadith). (Istishhad: It is to narrate a hadith that has the same meaning and is narrated from another companion, and to support it with its witness).
(Witness: It is a second hadith that is similar to a hadith that is thought to be an individual (single) as a result of research and is understood to have been narrated by the sheikh of the narrator who is thought to have narrated it alone.)
The Mosque of Imam Tirmidhi is the source of hasan hadith. Imam Tirmidhi was the first to put forward the definition of hasan hadith. He was also the first to classify hadiths as sahih, hasan and weak.
Muhaddiths divide the weak hadith into two parts:
a) A weak hadith that can be acted upon, which is similar to the hasan hadith in the terminology of Imam Tirmidhi.
b) The weak hadith that must be abandoned is the hadith that is completely worthless (wahi).
While describing the authentic and hasan hadith, we pointed out that they should not be irregular. Unless they are irregular, they will not be munkar.
(Munkar hadith: It is a hadith narrated by a weak narrator in contradiction with a reliable narrator. Munkar is the opposite of shaz; because the narrator of shaz is reliable, while the narrator of munkar is not reliable and is a weak person).
(Sika: Narrators who have the qualities of justice and control are called).
One of the common points between sahih and hasan is this: If we have ruled on a chain of narrators as being sahih or hasan, this ruling does not necessarily have to include the text, because sometimes the text is deviated or muallel.
“The saying “The text of every hadith whose chain of narration is authentic is not authentic either” is a measure of the hadith scholars who consider the content before the form.” Nizameddin DEMİR
