Construction of the Ship
Build the ark under Our supervision and by Our revelation. And do not address Me about the wrongdoers, for they will be drowned. (Surah Hud, 37)

The Destruction of the Son of Prophet Noah
In the Qur'an, a dialogue between Prophet Noah and his son at the beginning of the Flood is narrated as follows:

While the ship was sailing with them in waves like mountains, Noah called to his son who had withdrawn to one side: "O my son, ride with us and do not be with the disbelievers." He said: "I will seek refuge in a mountain which will protect me from the water." He said: "This day there is no protector from Allah's command except the Most Merciful." And the wave came between them, so he was among those who were drowned. (Surah Hud, 42-43)

Saving the Believers from the Flood
