The Belittling of Those Who Follow Prophet Noah

The leading disbelievers among his people said: "We see in you no one but a mortal like ourselves, and we see that none but the lowest of us follow you, and we see no superiority in you over us. On the contrary, we think you are liars." (Surah Hud, 27)

They said: "Shall we believe you when the common people follow you?" He said: "I have no knowledge of what they do. Their account is only with my Lord, if you are aware. And I will not drive away those who believe. I am only a plain warner." (Surat ash-Shu'ara', 111-115)
